On March 19, 2015, Mayor Tomasz Żak of Andrychów, along with Marek Wiśniewski, the CEO of ECM Energia S.A. – a subsidiary of ECM Group Polska S.A. – signed a contract for the project titled “Modernization of Street Lighting in the Municipality of Andrychów” as part of the “SOWA” program by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Warsaw. Thanks to this agreement, the Municipality of Andrychów became one of the innovators in the investment to replace street lighting with modern LED technology.
