17.07.2020 ECM Group Polska S.A. and GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. signed the contract for civil investor supervision, environmental supervision including environmental monitoring and investment management “Gas line construction Goleniów – Lwówek with necessary infrastructure covering: Phase I – gas line DN 1000 Goleniów – Ciecierzyce”.
Project “Baltic Pipe” is the strategic project aiming to open new gas supply corridor to European market. It will allow, for the first time in history, supplies of gas directly from Norway to Denmark and Poland and also neighboring countries. Baltic Pipe will also allow the gas deliveries from Poland to Denmark and Sweden.
The investment will include construction of the new gas line Goleniów – Lwówek, localized along existing gas line Szczecin – Lwówek. The new gas line will go through three voivodeship: zachodniopomorskie, lubuskie and wielkopolskie, counties: Goleniów, Maszewo, Stargard, Dolice, Przelewice, Pełczyce, Strzelce Krajeńskie, Zwierzyn, Santok, Deszczno, Skwierzyna, Przytoczna, Pszczew, Międzychów, Lwówek.
The construction of the gas line will be realized in two phases:
Phase I: Goleniów – Ciecierzyce – length ca. 122 km
Phase II: Ciecierzyce – Lwówek – length ca. 69 km.
The total length of planned gas line is ca. 191 km
Dimension – DN 1000
Pressure MOP – 8,4 MPa
New gas line will ensure posibility of supply bigger amount of gas coming from under sea Baltic Pipe and LNG Terminal in Świnoujście. This investment will optimize the capacity of Polish gas transfer system and will become important element of gas corridor North – South in Europe. Moreover the realization of the project will increase the energetic security of Poland.
