On February 2, 2015, in Zielona Góra, an agreement was signed between the State Treasury – General Director of National Roads and Motorways and a consortium of companies: ECMG GmbH – a subsidiary of ECM Group Polska S.A. and SGS Polska Sp. z o.o. The agreement pertained to: supervising the design and implementation of Works and managing two Contracts for two sections of the S3 road:
“Design and construction of the S-3 expressway Nowa Sól – Legnica (A-4), Task I, from Nowa Sól Południe interchange to Gaworzyce interchange (excluding the interchange) – approximately 16.4 km in length.
“Design and construction of the S-3 expressway Nowa Sól – Legnica (A-4): Task II, from Gaworzyce interchange to Kaźmierzów interchange (excluding the interchange) – approximately 16.9 km in length.”
The basic scope of construction works includes primarily:
ECM GmbH, as the service provider, will manage, exercise control, and provide investor supervision, as well as cooperate with the Ordering Party’s services in terms of reporting and promoting the implementation of the EU Project.
The project is scheduled for completion on June 19, 2018.
