ECM Group Polska S.A and PKP Linie Kolejowe signed the contract for management and supervision of investment “Modernization of railway No. 35 from Ostrołęka to Chorzele”
In the scope is included rebuilt: stations: Osrołęka, Grabowo, Jastrząbka, Chorzele and stops: Nowa Wieś Kościelna, Zabiele Wielkie, Parciaki, Olszewka. Platforms shall be equipped in new benches, sheds and lighting.
The works will be performed on the section of almost 60 km. After modernization the passenger trains will be able to reach the speed of 120 km/h and cargo trains – up to 80 km/h. 20 objects will be rebuilt including 14 culverts and 6 bridges. In the scope of work the construction of 250 meters bridge across Narew river will be replaced. The new local center of train management (LCS) in Ostrołęka will be built. The works are planned to start in 2020 and end in 2022. The project will be realized in the formula “design and build”
The total value of the investment: 314.700.000 PLN net
