On January 13, 2014, a contract was signed by: Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej “Legionowo” Sp. z o.o. (Legionowo District Heating Company) and ECM Group Polska S.A. for the implementation of an investment project named “Construction of a cogeneration source in the form of 3 gas engines and a gas boiler room on the premises of the Municipal Heating Plant in Legionowo”.
The contract, which entails the provision of Contract Engineer services for the investment, was signed by Narcyz Tokarski – President of the Management Board of PEC “Legionowo” Sp. z o.o. on one side, and on behalf of ECM Group’s President Aleksandra Dżoga, by Piotr Rasz – Director of Contract Implementation, on the other side.
As part of the investment, Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej “Legionowo” Sp. z o.o. will carry out the construction of a new cogeneration source of heat and electricity in the form of three gas engines with a total electrical power of about 6.0 MWe and thermal power of about 6.0 MWt, as well as a gas boiler with a capacity of about 8MWt, on the site of the existing Heating Plant at Olszankowa Street 36. As a result of the investment, PEC “Legionowo” Sp. z o.o. will be able to produce annually about 48,000 MWh of electricity and about 160,000 GJ of heat.
