16.07.2020 ECM Group Polska S.A. and GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. signed the contract for civil investor supervision, environmental supervision and investment management “Construction of the intersystem gas line connecting supply systems of Poland and Lithuania with supporting infrastructure covering masovian and podlaskie voivodeship i.e. gas line Poland – Lithuania, southern section” – task 1 from gas compressor station Hołowczyce I with inclusion system to the border of masovian voivodeship, length ca 72,5 km”
Civil investor supervision, environmental supervision and investment management “Construction of the intersystem gas line connecting supply systems of Poland and Lithuania with supporting infrastructure covering masovian and podlaskie voivodeship i.e. gas line Poland – Lithuania, southern section” – task 2 from masovian voivodeship border around km 72,5 to around km 157,2 in Mały Płock county, Rudka Skroida, length ca. 84,7 km.
New gas line will ensure posibility of supply bigger amount of gas coming from under sea Baltic Pipe and LNG Terminal in Świnoujście. This investment will optimize the capacity of Polish gas transfer system and will become important element of gas corridor North – South in Europe. Moreover the realization of the project will increase the energetic security of Poland.
Gas supply diversification will increase the energetic security, The realization of the project “Baltic Pipe” will have big impact on creating internal European energy market. Realization of the project is coincident with EU energetic policy.
